Our Mission & Beliefs
Love God and Love Others Well Beyond Boundaries
At CWWI, our aim is to love and serve God, while loving and serving others well, beyond economic, social, emotional, cultural, and etc. differences.
To Be a Church that Makes a Lasting Impact
From the beginning, CWWI strives to be a church that touches and impact lives, changing them for the better through the sharing of the Gospel, the love of Christ, and the transformative power of the Holy Spirit. We desire to raise up leaders and pour into the next believer, the next worshipper, the next generation, so that Jesus Christ may shine through us.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe that there is one God and that all things were created by Him and only Him. God is all-might, all-powerful, all-knowing, wise, perfect, everlasting, the greatest comforter, completely worthy of praise and trust, and most importantly, holy. He is eternally good, loving, compassionate, kind, and faithful to His people and His promises.
(Deuteronomy 32:4; 39; Romans 11:33; Isaiah 40, 42-45; Matthew 19:26; Jeremiah 9:24; Psalm 136:1; 1 John 4:8; Genesis 1:1; 1 Corinthians 8:4-6; 1 Samuel 2:2; Isaiah 44:8; Mark 12:32.)
We believe that the Bible is God’s Word, and that it gives live to all people. All 66 books of the Old and New Testament were written and inspired under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. The Bible is God’s truth, without any error and is alive and superior in our lives today. The Bible is the basis of everything we believe in and the foundation in everything we teach and do, as we know that all scripture is breathed out by God.
(2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-12; Proverbs 30:5-6, Psalm 119;105; Romans 15:25-16)
We believe that Jesus Christ is God in the flesh, both true God and true man. He was sent by His father, born of a virgin, gave up His divine privileges, took on the humble position of a servant, to be born into a world of chaos and sin. He lived a pure life, was crucified on the cross, and rose again in three days to conquer sin and death, providing a way for man to be eternally reconciled with God. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
(John 14:6; 1 Timothy 3:16; Isaiah 9:6; Philippians 1:21-23; Matthew 1:18, 23-25; John 1:29, 2:19-21, 20:26-28, 21:4; Acts 24:15, Luke 1:27-35.)
We believe that the Holy Spirit is our Helper, sent by God, so that we can be renewed, empowered in Christ, and convicted of sin. For believer, the Spirit gives freedom, intercedes for us through tongues, imparts us with spiritual gifts, and guides all people in truth.
(2 Corinthians 3:17; John 14:15-17; Galatians 5:22-23; Romans 8:26, 1:11, 12:4-8; John 14:26; Acts 1:5, 2:38-39, 2:1-4. 17, 8:14-17, 11:15-17 ; Matthew 3:11; Mark 16:17; 1 Corinthians 12:1-31, 14:1-40; 1 Peter 4:10, John 6:63)
We believe that we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus. The blood of Christ provides the only way of salvation through the forgiveness of sin. Salvation is a gift that is given by Jesus when people recognise and confess their sin, and proclaim that Jesus Christ is their Savior; the sufficient atonement for their sin. Salvation is a gift from God and it cannot be earned through our own efforts.
(Ephesians 2:8-9; Galatians 2:16, 3:8; Romans 10:9-10)
We believe that God’s kingdom has come in the ministry of Jesus, that it continues through the ministry of the Spirit through the Church, and that it will be consummated in the glorious, visible and triumphant appearing of Christ when He returns to earth in the rapture. After which there will be a final judgment and the creation of a new heaven and a new earth where we will either live forever in communion with God or be eternally separated from God.
(Matt 24:30; 26:63-64; Acts 1:9-11; 1 Thes 4:15-17; 2 Thes 1:7-8; Rev 1:7)
